Call for participation

The South African Council for Automation and Control will be presenting a one-day seminar on quantifying the benefits associated with process control projects.

In a cash constrained environment all engineering projects must be able to demonstrate a return on investment.  A number of methods exist to calculate the returns of these projects, and these will be discussed during the seminar.  Case studies will be presented to demonstrate implementations of advanced control projects, and how the benefits associated with these projects are quantified.

At the conclusion of the seminar the attendees will have a thorough understanding of the types of methodologies used in evaluating the costs and benefits of control related projects, as well as practical aspects associated with benefit calculation
